In order for the group to continue providing help and support, we have to charge for some of the information and admission to meetings. In this way we can raise further monies from outside funders to help us run the group. Sheffield City Council are our current benefactors. Your money will also go towards spreading the awareness of Fibromyalgia Syndrome to GPs and other medical professionals.
Group meetings are held monthly at the Victoria Hall Methodist Church, Room 40, Norfolk Street, Sheffield S1 2JB. There is a £1.25 admission charge at each meeting, We have on display FREE Literature and information to give your GP or Consultant etc. We also have protocols from specialist Doctors on the management of Fibromyalgia and other related illnesses. There is a selection of medical books available which can be borrowed for a fee of £2.00 that is refundable when returned. We have available an information pack which includes a self-management program for your Fibromyalgia Syndrome, a benefits leaflet, various articles and details about our group meetings.
