If you would like to become a member of our group, the yearly membership fee is only
£6.50 and for this you will receive newsletters and other mailings of up to-date information
and dates of forthcoming events.
We have social evenings, with buffet meal included and the occasional trip to the coast or
places of interest.
In order for the group to continue providing help and support, we have to charge for some
of the information and admission to meetings. Your money will go towards spreading the
awareness of Fibromyalgia Syndrome to GPs and other medical professionals.
Group meetings are held monthly at the Quaker Meeting House, 10 St James Street,
Sheffield. There is a £1.00 admission charge at each meeting, plus 25p for each drink
and biscuits.
We have on display FREE Literature and information to give your GP or Consultant etc.
We also have protocols from specialist Doctors on the management of Fibromyalgia and
other related illnesses.
There is a selection of medical books available which can be borrowed for a fee of £2.00
that is refundable when returned.
We have available an information pack which includes a self-management program for
your Fibromyalgia Syndrome, a benefits leaflet, various articles and details about our
group meetings.

£3.50, made payable to the ‘Sheffield Fibromyalgia Self Help Group’ to our Treasurer: -
